These cake stands are so precious to me. First of all, they were extremely difficult to make and then I was very surprised they made it through the bisque firing. I’ve had them for a long time trying to decide which colors to glaze them. I finally pulled the trigger and went with these colors. What do you think? Success?

I picked up Kitchen Gardening for Beginners by Simon Akeroyd because I am always looking for more ways to make the most out of my garden. I always have trouble coming up with ways to use everything. It’s a fun little book with great diagrams, images, instructions and illustrations and you can tell each page was treated individually from a design standpoint. Love it!
